EPTECH SHOW

Building the “connected device” or “connected product” presents a unique set of challenges to a broad range of product designers.  IDC estimates that there will be 15 Billion connected products by 2015.  That prediction suddenly moves connectivity from the competitive advantage column to the competitive requirement column.

Learn how to quickly add WiFi connectivity to your product design.  This session will cover a design process that unifies PCB, FPGA and embedded design in a single hierarchical project.  IP blocks supporting USB, SPI or even WiFi connectivity are easily added to the design.  This WiFi example will include the TCP/IP  software stack and how it is intrinsic to the design process.

Date: October 20, 2011
Time: 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
